An Interesting Comment

Scrolling through various comments left by folks on different websites I came across this one . It seems to focus on a major difference between McCain and Obama, the difference between an ideologue and a thinking person.

comment from booksnmore4you:

"Worse is that John McCain stated that unless America takes a war, any war, to victory, that the blood spilled is lost, meaning that soldiers who died, died in vain and are not patriots. This is not only radically immoral but dangerously blind, necessitating the inference that even when a war turns out as a misguided endeavor it MUST be seen through to "victory". Obama countered this idea, stating that all soldiers who die in service to their commander-in-chief are patriots, and a war's outcome does not assail that fact."
